Dial A Deal is a personal buying service. You tell us what you want — by phone or web — and we search eBay, find the best deal, take secure payment, and buy the item on your behalf. We then ship it to you and support you through delivery, returns, and any issues. You don't need your own eBay account.
No. We act as your buying agent and complete the purchase through our own eBay access. You just tell us what you want and approve the price.
Card payments are processed by a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider and tokenized. We never store your full card number or security code. On the phone you pay using your keypad so our team never hears your card digits. See our Security & PCI page for full detail.
After you approve the total, our system asks you to enter your card on your phone's keypad (DTMF). The tones are captured securely by our payment provider and masked from agents and call recordings, so nobody at Dial A Deal sees or hears your card number.
You pay the item price, any shipping and taxes set by eBay/the seller, plus a Dial A Deal service fee. We always show the complete, itemized total before you approve — there are no hidden charges. Exact fee terms are in our Terms of Service.
Never. We show or read back the exact item and full total, and we only charge your card and place the order after you clearly approve.
If an item is eligible, we start the return with the seller, arrange a label where possible, and process your refund to your original payment method once the return is accepted. Eligibility and timelines follow eBay's and the seller's policies, including the eBay Money Back Guarantee where it applies. See Order help.
Call or message us with your order reference. We'll contact the seller on your behalf, open a case, and escalate through eBay's buyer protection if needed — all the way to a refund or replacement.
No. Dial A Deal is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by eBay Inc. We integrate with eBay's official APIs to provide our service. Items are sold by third-party eBay sellers. "eBay" is a trademark of eBay Inc.
Only what we need to complete and support your order — your request, delivery and contact details, a payment token (never the full card number), and order references — retained per our Privacy Policy. You can request access or deletion at any time.
